Your operation doesn’t sit in a shared database with a flag hiding everyone else’s rows. It runs in its own separate database, set up for you alone. There is no other client’s data in it at all. That isn’t down to a permission check. The data simply isn’t there.
Hosted in the UK by default.
Your ActaStack environment and its database are hosted in the UK by default, with the application and the data in the same region. If you’d rather have them in the UAE, we can arrange that on request. It means its own database set-up, which we arrange as part of your onboarding.
Encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your data is encrypted as it travels and while it’s stored. Our hosting providers, Vercel for the application and Neon for your database, provide both.

No analytics, tracking or error-monitoring product touches your data either. Your database is in London; sign-in is handled in the United States, which we’d rather say plainly than leave “hosted in the UK” to imply otherwise. The only file we store for you is your logo.
If you leave, your data goes.
When you leave ActaStack, your data is deleted unless we’ve agreed otherwise with you. We’ll provide your data on request before that, so you can take what you need first.
Sign in the way your business already does.
With single sign-on, your team signs in with their existing company login. There’s no extra password to remember or reset, and when someone leaves and their company account is switched off, their ActaStack access goes with it. Two-factor authentication adds a second check at sign-in, such as a code from the person’s phone, so a stolen or guessed password isn’t enough to get in.

Who sees what, person by person.
Set permissions per person: pick someone on your team and switch on exactly what they can see. Roles keep it organised, so field staff, dispatch and finance each start from what their job needs. Financial information can be hidden from anyone who doesn’t need it, without shutting them out of the system.

Is my data mixed with other companies' data?
No. Every client has a database of their own. Your data isn't a set of rows in someone else's table with a flag deciding who may see them.
Can my data be hosted in the UAE?
Yes, on request. It's hosted in the UK by default, and if you want it in the UAE that means its own database set-up, which we arrange as part of your onboarding.
Which other companies can access my data?
Five, and no more: Vercel hosts the application, Neon hosts your database in its London region, Clerk handles sign-in and user accounts and is hosted in the United States, Resend sends transactional email such as invitations, and Cloudflare R2 stores logo uploads. No analytics, tracking or error-monitoring product touches your data.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It's deleted when you leave, unless we've agreed otherwise with you. We'll provide your data on request before that.
